Each day at Gather is designed to balance movement, connection, and rest. You’re invited to participate in as much or as little as feels good for you—this weekend is about tuning in, not checking out a to-do list.
Morning:
• Start your day however feels right—soak in the hot tub, step into the sauna, or take a refreshing cold plunge
• Enjoy a morning Mat Pilates session to ground into your body
• Followed by a nourishing farm-to-table breakfast
• Take time to shower, journal, or slowly get ready for the day
Midday:
• Enjoy free time to explore the property, read by the lake, craft, or just be still
• We’ll gather again for a farm-to-table lunch—a moment to connect over seasonal, chef-crafted food
Afternoon:
• Each day offers optional activities such as a sound bath, restorative yoga class, or a group hike
• You’re also welcome to use this time for rest, reflection, or booking a reflexology session
Evening:
• Evenings begin with a cozy family-style dinner
• Then we’ll wind down with a group activity—this might be a cooking class, a workshop on body connection, a movie night, or simply conversation around the fire
• Close the day however you’d like: relax in the hot tub, enjoy quiet time under the stars, or head in early for a good night’s rest

All meals and snacks throughout the weekend will be crafted by Anne, our dedicated retreat chef and the visionary behind Mushrooms NYC. Anne sources many of her ingredients directly from her own nearby farm, and brings a grounded, intuitive, and artful approach to every meal she creates.
Expect seasonal, farm-to-table dishes that are as healing as they are beautiful, served family-style at set times each day. Thoughtfully prepared to support your body and energize your experience, these meals are meant to be savored—an opportunity to slow down, connect, and remember the joy of eating well.
One of the days, Anne will guide a hands-on cooking class, where you’ll explore how to cook intuitively with fresh, local ingredients and walk away with tools to create simple, nourishing meals long after the retreat ends.
We welcome all dietary needs and preferences—just let us know in the checkout questionnaire, and Anne will tailor your meals with care.
This is more than just food—it’s an invitation to reconnect with your body, your intuition, and your relationship with what sustains you.

Each element of the retreat has been thoughtfully chosen to help you reconnect—with your body, your mind, and our community.
Everything is optional, and you’re encouraged to tune in and participate in whatever feels supportive to you. Whether you’re seeking rest, movement, play, or peace, there’s space for it all here.
Included in your retreat experience:
• Daily Mat Pilates Classes
Led by Tara, these classes are designed to meet you where you are. With a focus on mindful movement, alignment, and building strength from the inside out, Pilates will be the grounding practice that carries you through the weekend—both energizing and restorative.
• Sound Baths
Settle into stillness and allow the vibrations of crystal singing bowls and ambient sound to wash over you. These sessions offer deep relaxation, nervous system regulation, and a moment to simply receive.
• Gentle Yoga Classes
Led in a supportive, beginner-friendly style, these restorative flows will help release tension, connect breath to movement, and create more spaciousness in both your body and mind.
• Mind-Body Connection Workshops
Through guided practices and open conversations, we’ll explore how to tune into your body’s cues, uncover patterns, and develop tools for deeper awareness and healing—on and off the mat.
• Seasonal Cooking Class
Join our private chef, Anne, in the kitchen for a hands-on experience using fresh, seasonal ingredients from her local farm. You’ll learn how to create nourishing meals in rhythm with nature and leave with skills to carry into your everyday life.
• Hot Tub, Cold Plunge, and Handmade Sauna
Take advantage of our wellness amenities throughout the day. Start your morning with an invigorating cold plunge, wind down with a hot soak under the stars, or sweat it out in our hand-built sauna for a full-body reset.
• Acres of Land to Explore
Whether you’re in the mood for a meditative walk, a brisk hike, or simply lying in the grass with a book, the serene natural surroundings of Akera offer space to breathe, wander, and reconnect with the earth.
Wi-Fi is available onsite, though we invite you to unplug when you can. Let your body lead, your mind rest, and your spirit find its pace again.
